- Abstract
- The results of empiric study of specificity of value-and-meaning orientations of Orthodox young people are stated. Student of seminary (50 youths) and orthodox university (30 youths) were seurveyed by means of deprivation of self-consciousness structural links method. Modified procedure "VOP-8" and Meaning-in-Life Orientations questionnaire were used for orthodox (46 young men and women) and secular (50 young men and women) university students survey. The hypotheses that (1) in real frustratuion life situations orthodox youth will manifest ambivalent value-and-meaning orientations and (2) religious value-and-meaning orientation of orthodox youth is not connected with the level of their own life comprehension are confirmed.
