- Abstract
- The hypothesis of decrease in capability for humor recognition in schizophrenia patients was verifyied. Male patients with different forms of schizophrenia and contrast group (aging 17–32, 101 persons in all) were thesample. The procedure of singling humorous phrases out and procedures of standart pathopsychological examining were used. The conclusion that in patients with shift-like progredient schizophrenia the ability for humor recognition decreases but in patients with weak schizophrenia and affective disorders it remains safe.
