Abstract

The preliminary results of originated from A.V. Brushlinsky’s psychology of the subject, human existence psychology forming are presented. Three main paradigms of psyche study from the stand point of human existence psychology are described: cognitive, hermeneutic and existential. Three types of understandings in accordance with the named approaches to scientific analysis of subject’s psyche – understanding – knowing, understanding – interpretation, understanding – comprehension are revealed. The contexts in which modern psychological studies are carried out by the followers of the three scientific paradigms are examined.
