- Abstract
- There are described the personal aspects of combat stress determined with exertion of psychological systems like motivation, self-adequacy, willpower, reflective consciousness, etc. The interrelation between reliability of personal activity and realization of person’s role and place in combat operations is shown. The role of citi-zenly support to the fighter from population, family and state structures is defined. There are presented the consequences of combat stress by way of personality’s dissociation as a social-phychological syndrome of “the loss of face”. The suggestions on psychological assistance to the fighter are described within the framework of military doctrine and soldierly duty.
