- Abstract
- In the study of psychological nature of intermodal unity of sensations it was determined that experience of subjective similarity of sensations of different modality is based on the mechanism of emotional generalization. The existence of intermodal formations based on emotional grounds is the proof. At the semantic level (at the level of emotional-estimation characteristics) this become apparent in the existence of domains of semantic correspondence, equivalence of different modality sensations. Common factor structures for different modality stimular which are connected with the united intermodal characteristics of all sensations – quality and intensity are recieved on the basis of different data.
