Theoretical analysis enabled us to distinguish two types of goal direction. The first is general goal direction, when the behaviour is directed to the object of need. The second is the concrete direction determined by the behaviour situation. Both of them must be present in the real basis of behaviour. Since the set includes in itself actual need as well as concrete situation, it may be considered to be such a basis.
