- Abstract
Results of an empirical study of long-term goal-setting are analyzed. The revealed features of semantic aspect of the goal-setting are presented with the help of four rates: a degree of a goal originality, self-determination of its setting, level of its personal significance, and variation of modes of its achievement. A proposition is substantiated that the semantic aspect of the goal-setting is interrelated with a person’s social attitudes for traditions, i. e. conservatism, and for something new, i. e. radicalism.
