Abstract
The status and paradigmatic features of poetic philosophy in its comparison with the scientific philosophy are examined in the genre of co-reflection with the reference to the texts by Ernst Junger. The characteristics of the poetic philosophy are considered primarily in the ontological perspective being focused on the subject and the conceptual outlines of Existence, its human intentions and some nihilistic threats trapping it. The author who has not much trust in the social sphere and tends rather to the spatial than to the temporal vision of the world, advocates the subject, the life and the humanity, and relies on the existential resources of resistance to nihilism and its totalitarian forerun. The focus here, as in E. Junger's works, is on the Human character with its natural dominant and intimate space of two people loving each other.
