Abstract
One just can't interpret the semantics of works of primitive art. It is not possible to establish concrete meanings, but certain general meanings can be defined. It is important for the whole anthropological knowledge. We believe that primitive art reflects images of the perception of the external world and of primitive people themselves. Recurring of the motifs indicate the importance of the object. Stylistic changes reflect the stages of the evolution of self-understanding.
