- Abstract
- There is an episode in "Commoners' happiness" by N.G. Pomyalovskiy when a young protagonist who is the author's alter ego finds out by chance of the folk custom to bury the infants who died unbaptized in the depth of the forest. The author makes an attempt to demonstrate that here quite common and widespread folk ideas of the infants that were born dead or died unbaptized are presented. the souls of such infants were considered as unrested and dangerous.
