- Abstract
- The affluent underlying messages contained in the prose by Yuriy Trifonov are considered illustrated by "Starik" ("An old man") novel. The way the matters of everyday life descriptions and the passages that seems the conventional psychological prose when being peruse appear the deepest social, philosophical and historical insights. As for "Starik" those are the demonstration of the inner "original sin" of the Russian Revolution. The attempt to disclose the machinery of this encoding/decoding is made.
