- Abstract
- The article deals with the work and philosophical-aesthetical search of Attila József (1905–1937), one of the most signifi cant Hungarian poets in the twentieth century. It explores the innovative character of his poetry, analyses such aspects of his poesy as form-making, philosophical trends and confessionary character. The work of the poet is presented against a wider background of the European culture of the twentieth century.
