Abstract
Online Big Data (OBD) in sociological research is considered as quantitative information about website visitors, their Internet activity, individual preferences and interests. The article summarizes the capabilities of analytical platforms for collecting, processing and storing big data, and presents a system of their indicators used for sociological analysis. Taking into account that the methodology of big data analysis is under development, it is proposed to introduce a conceptual and methodological scheme OBD analysis, metadata monitoring for implementation of technical operating principles and regular adjustments, automation of work with large text arrays, standardization of web measurements.
