- Abstract
- Two tasks are put in the forefront: to clear some aspects of contents of Eddic Harbarflzliflfl, for example, to answer some questions (why Odin doesn't transport Thor through the gulf and doesn't tell his name?) and to study the influence of contents on the choice of a form of this Eddic song. In article are considered a problem of nomination; the opposition Odin - Thor: the reasons and mechanisms, formal manifestation and a role in creation of a plot; genre as way of implementation of the contents of the song. It is possible to note that in Harbarflzliflfl contents - a verbal duel of Odin and Thor - and also the main function of Odin as mediator - carrier through the gulf - determines a form of this eddic song constituted by fragments of various genres (a vainglory, insult, an epistemiologic song and journey) for which realization of various lingvo-stylistic methods are used. Harbarflzliflfl is compared with another version of the cosmogonic song - Vafprflflnismal.
